Louise Page OAM


Soprano Louise Page OAM is one of Australia’s most highly regarded singers. Her career encompasses opera, operetta, oratorio, cabaret, recitals, recordings and broadcast appearances throughout Europe and Australia. Louise has attracted national and international acclaim winning the ABC Young Performer of the Year vocal final, the inaugural Mietta’s Song Recital Competition, the Robert Stolz/Apex scholarship to Vienna, the Belgian Radio and Television Opera Bel Canto “City of Ghent” Prize and as a member of the young artist program of the Vienna State Opera. Louise has appeared for such groups as Music Viva, the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, the Canberra International Chamber Music Festival, and many Australian Symphony Orchestras. She is a former Canberra Times Artist of the Year and in 2013 was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for her services to the performing arts.
